Introducing a NEW Fee-for-Service Program for sellers.
This new Fee-for-Service Program offers sellers the opportunity to choose, which and what, services they would require from the Real Estate Associate, in the selling of their homes. Depending on the services or package required, the fees will vary. What is a Fee-for-Service Program?
While listed on the MLS® System, home sellers decide whether they wish to become involved in the sale of their property by participating in the marketing, or if they’d prefer, their Agent can take care of everything. Once a prospective buyer is identified for my client’s home, I will present the sellers with the option of showing that prospect themselves, or if they prefer, I can show the buyer. The seller may also choose to host open houses. The more involved a homeowner chooses to become, the greater their opportunity to save on fees. However, this is not intended to be a forsale by owner program.
Services I will offer in the Fee-for-Service Program.
As a licensed Real Estate Associate with the Real Estate Council of Alberta, I will offer some or all of the services as a package for a fee:
Exposure on the MLS® System All the advertising and marketing (Seller can choose to do this instead) Supplying all signage and handouts Answering telephone inquiries Providing home staging & preparation ideas (Seller can choose to do this instead) Buyer showings and open houses (Seller can choose to do this instead) Negotiating the offer Completing all paperwork Using my contacts to help the buyer arrange mortgage financing; and managing the sale through closing
Why do I believe in Fee-for-Service Program? It’s simple. Not only does fee-for-service make sense for my clients, but it makes sense for me too. The Program savings and results make it very easy for homeowners to choose it, thus providing an opportunity to offer more homes for sale, which in turn attracts more buyers. To me, this approach makes sense. By providing my clients with the services and options they want... we can enjoy a tremendous competitive advantage. Owner participation in the sale process is welcomed and this ultimately results in a win-win solution.
